Nári jarháski - greeting to all our relatives!

Indigenous Peoples' Day is coming up, but we want folks to know supporting Indigenous people and their sovereignty is year round. Working with Native organizers and community members means supporting Land Back, caring for the land that sustains us, and actively dismantling colonialism in the manifests around us. We are excited to see our community for this busy month of events, including a conversation on centering Indigenous voices and the Snow Mountain Powwow, please check out our calendar below and hope to see you in person!

Our hearts go out to all who have been affected by the shooting that occurred at this past First Friday. We recognize the tragedy and exhaustion that we must live alongside when these incidents happen. Our community's youth are especially impacted when there are so few accessible spaces they can join to express themselves and have fun with friends and family. Fifth Sun Project attended to showcase our art activation on 1st Street: an intergenerational piece about our connection to land, something that connects us all. If you are interested in joining future conversations related to this, please reply to this email and let us know.
